Automotive customers ask for Cp and Cpk by name. In-process and SPC (statistical process control) keeps them as standing numbers on the screen, not as a slide rebuilt before a visit. Every reading names the gauge, and Calibration refuses one that is out of date. A typo is voided with a reason and the chart updates; nothing is edited away. Skills & Training holds who is allowed to run the operation, with the certificate and its expiry behind the claim, and flags a skill with no valid paper. Production carries the output, the stops and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness). Quality holds the NCR (non-conformance report) and the CAPA (corrective and preventive action) that stops it coming back.
