This is what the plant consumes: electricity, gas, water, steam, compressed air, anything with a meter on it. Most plants can see the invoice and not the cause. One site, one month, one number.
Meters have their own tree, a sub meter under a parent meter, and it is not the machine tree. Readings arrive by hand from the shop floor or from the meters themselves, and a daily check flags the ones that have gone stale. The module then shows consumption per carrier, per line and per work order, and a site balance. Parent minus children is the unaccounted share, which is where a compressed air leak stops being a suspicion and becomes a percentage somebody owns.
Shifts and Production split the consumption into productive and idle, so a line running empty stops looking like one making product. For a plant running an energy management program to ISO 50001, the module holds an approved baseline and a savings chart against it.
