Traceability

Trace affected material quickly when a supplier or quality issue is found.

When lot records are split across paper, the ERP and local files, defining the scope of a supplier issue or recall takes too long. Phasis connects incoming, consumed and produced lots so quality teams can trace affected material in either direction and prevent held stock from being consumed.

Operators open and close produced lots and stage the material lots used by the line. Goods-in staff register supplier lots, while quality managers run investigations and place affected lots on hold.

The trace covers material movement within the plant and supports recall investigation. Electronic batch execution remains a separate workflow.
