Shift Handover

Give every shift a clear, acknowledged view of open issues.

Paper logs and chat messages make it easy for unresolved issues to disappear at shift change. Phasis carries open items into each new handover until they are closed, so the incoming team sees what still needs attention and how long it has been open.

The outgoing supervisor updates existing issues, records new ones and submits the handover. The incoming supervisor confirms each critical item before acknowledging it, and the author cannot approve their own handover. At submission, Phasis also captures open work from connected production, maintenance, quality, safety and tooling modules.

Handover remains a communication record rather than another task list. Work that needs an owner and due date is managed in Maintenance, Quality or HSE, with a link from the handover item.
